Sh2-136
Sh2-136, also called vdB 141, is a nebula containing a Bok globule located about 1,200 light years away towards the constellation Cepheus. The structure is over 2 light years across and part of the Cepheus Flare molecular cloud complex.
Bok globules are unusual clouds of gas and dust, usually in the process of collapsing in to new stars. On the right of this image, the core of the cloud may be forming a binary star system.

in my social justice philosophy class we were talking about feminism and beauvoir and this one philosophy reddit bro kept talking and blurting things and my (male) professor just told him “i really want to hear from people who are not male identified. there are plenty of them in this class and their voices are more important in this sort of discussion” and the guy was just. shocked. i don’t think anything like that had ever happened to him before in his life
